PERFORMANCE GOALS

If you want to really improve in something, you probably want to set some concrete goals. It is highly motivating to work towards something and it will give you the opportunity to really evaluate your training methods. Now, I like to aim high when it comes to performance goals (for my athletes aswel as myself). So I set some pretty ''optimistic'' targets that I want to achieve in the upcoming 3 months.

Improving the jumps will be pretty straightforward when it comes to exercise selection. The sprinting times will be a bit of a different story since there is more technique involved. So in order to really try to achieve these goals, I will select and design exercises based on a movement analysis.

I will go into more details on the movement analyses in a later blogpost. Every week (or maybe 2 weeks) I will highlight a training out of the week and make a short blogpost on it. Stay tuned!
